Accommodation at Mana

There are several accommodation options available at Mana Retreat Centre, each offering something a little different. Below is an overview to help you choose what feels right for you.

Main Lodge
The Main Lodge is centrally located, close to the Yoga Studio. It offers two single rooms and two twin rooms, all with shared bathrooms. The teaching team will be staying in one of the twin rooms so that we are on site and easily available throughout the retreat.

Moana Lodge
Just a short walk from the Main Lodge is the Moana Lodge, which offers six ensuite shared rooms. These rooms are spacious and located about a minute away, accessed by a short set of easy steps.

One of the six rooms contains a double bed and can be booked either as a shared room for two people or as a single room with ensuite. This is the only single room with an ensuite available.
Additional single room options may be available on request, subject to availability.

Two of the rooms in Moana Lodge have four beds, making them ideal for groups of three or four friends. When more than two people share a room, the cost per person will be slightly reduced.

Tui Lodge
Located just above Moana Lodge is the private Tui Lodge, which is usually the teachers’ residence, but is sometimes used for guests. This beautiful lodge enjoys stunning views across the Retreat Centre and the valley beyond. There’s a bench outside — a lovely spot to sit, rest, and soak in the surroundings.

The room includes one double bed and one single bed, with an ensuite bathroom and bathtub. Please note that the shower water pressure in this lodge is limited.

Ponga Lodge
Situated further up the hill (approximately a 5–7 minute uphill walk) is the Ponga Lodge, which offers seven twin rooms. Some of these rooms include a double and a single bed — please let us know if this is your preference.

Ponga Lodge is also home to the sauna, outdoor bush bath, and garden space known as the Circle of Friends. It’s a wonderful place to stay; however, if you have an injury or find walking uphill challenging, this lodge may not be the best option for you.

When booking, IF you have a preference for a particular lodge, please let us know.
For any questions at all, feel free to get in touch — I’m very happy to help.
