Welcome to Yoga House, Orewa,

My name is Sophie, my husband Nick Rado and I opened Orewa's first premium, purpose-built Yoga, Barre and Pilates Studio. We first opened our doors in August 2022 at a time where so many of us were seeking more ways to relax and connect. I love this beautiful space nestled between the trees and Nukumea stream,

I can't wait to share its magic with you soon!

Wishing You Wellness

New to Yoga House? Have a read below for some helpful information to set you up for success.

  • There is limited parking during the day time classes. Parking can be found at Arundel Reserve next to Orewa Beach.

  • Monday and Tuesday, there is additional parking in the Walnut Cottage Cafe car parking spaces. As the cafe is closed Mon and Tues.

  • Please bring your yoga mat, a warm layer during winter or cooler months and a water bottle. No other drinks or food in the studio, please.

  • No pets inside Yoga House please, please leave your fur babies at home.

  • Min age to attend regular group class is age 16, please do not bring your child along to studio while you attend a session.

  • We have a strict no-mobile use policy in the studio during classes. Please turn off your mobile phones in the studio.

  • Please respect your fellow Yoga House members and their practice and arrive on time for class. Late arrivals disrupt both students and the teacher.

  • We prefer that you stay for the entire session, as savasana/cool down is where the real benefits take place; however, if you need to leave early, please let your instructor know before class starts.

  • Studio doors open to students 15 mins before class begins. Please allow time prior to this for the teacher to arrive and prepare.

  • Please do not walk on other people's mats.

  • To honour the energy and group dynamic, please do not perform a practice markedly different from the teacher's. Modifications are significant and welcome, but if you want to do your own thing, please do that at home.

  • Please tidy any props or equipment you use away neatly to look nice and tidy for incoming Yoga House students.

  • Please respect your teacher's time, boundaries and energy. If you need extra time with any of our instructors, personal 1:1 sessions are available. See the price list for further information.

  • Personal hygiene, please stay fresh and neutral. Avoid wearing strong after shaves and perfumes.
